Texas is a southwestern state in the United States of America, bordering Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and old Mexico. It is the country's second-largest state after Alaska. The state is known for its yellow roses and the stars at night, which are big and bright.

In an attempt to lure out the Survivors, Snarler and the Mayhem Attack Squad set a hellhound loose in Dallas. All that came to the city's rescue was the rogue Decepticon Carnivac, but that was good enough for the Mayhems. Way of the Warrior

2005 IDW continuity

The Machination maintained offices in Dallas through a front company called Epsilon Holdings. Infiltration #4 Hot Rod confronted Scorponok there Maximum Dinobots #1, while Sunstreaker traveled there to find his original head. Maximum Dinobots #2 The captured Hot Rod managed to escape the complex whilst Sunstreaker infiltrated it Maximum Dinobots #3, events that were soon followed by the arrival of the Dinobots and Shockwave. Maximum Dinobots #4 A battle broke out outside the Machination headquarters, and was eventually won by the Autobots. Maximum Dinobots #5

NEST set up a secret armoury under the Alamo, that big famous landmark, thinking it would be safe there. Shockingly, it wasn't! Tankor was caught raiding it but he'd taken hostages from the tourists, demanding safe passage out. Using quick thinking and surprise tactics, Springer and Jolt ended the situation. Alternate Timeline

In a divergent timeline, the Decepticons succeeded at Mission City and conquered the United States. Camshaft and his team saved the Texan city of Shallowater from a volcanic disaster caused by the AllSpark. Return to Cybertron: Part 2

IDW movie comics

NEST had a base in an old nuclear shelter in Odessa, which the Autobots prepared to hold Soundwave. Unfortunately, Soundwave's plane crashed. Nefarious #3 NEST continued to use it as a base of operations anyway, until eventually Soundwave turned up there and told them he had found where the Initiative were hiding. Nefarious #4

Prime cartoon

After Bulkhead damaged the Nemesis's navigation system, Starscream suggested they use the Giant Sized Array in Texas so the space bridge would lock onto Cybertron's coordinates. Soundwave took charge and even slaughtered a human there, but the three human children the Autobots befriended got wise to what was happening and GroundBridged there. Despite their best efforts, Soundwave fended them off and axed a wire, preventing any further disruption to the Decepticon operation. Darkness Rising, Part 5

Shockwave was digging up Predacon remains in a Texan oil field when Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Smokescreen turned up to stop him. The ensuing fight devastated the oil field, and the Decepticons managed to get away with a chunk of the fossil anyway. Project Predacon
