The Blue Deployer
"Swanky" is the word used most often to describe The Blue Deployer. Located on Level 29 in Zone 6 of Axiom Nexus, the establishment is the pride and joy of Cryotek, one of the minority of TransTech entrepreneurs operating in the offworlder sector, and certainly one of the few established so far below Zone 1. The Blue Deployer provides a number of services, from simple imbibement to games of chance that rely on advanced quantum theory. And Commander Cheetor of the Security Administration is a regular visitor of the establishment, so rest comfortably at The Blue Deployer knowing you're well-protected...and monitored.
Do try the polonium spritzers, won't you?

Notes
[edit]- The Blue Deployer is a reference to The Blue Parrot, :}}Sidney Greenstreet|'s club from the film :}}Casablanca (film)|; Beast Era Cryotek owns a Deployer named Chro, who is a blue bird. Its competing club, Widow's Cafe Cybertronian, is a reference to :}}Humphrey Bogart|'s Rick's Cafe Americain, from the same film. The original Cryotek in "Theft of the Golden Disk" is styled after Greenstreet's character from :}}The Maltese Falcon (1941 film)|; Greenstreet portrays an adversary of Bogart's character in both films.
