After escaping from a Decepticon controlled Senate, Sentinel Prime was attacked by the Rainmakers. Using his EMPs, Ion Storm managed to have the Prime crash into the Slaarg & Turbofox. Though the Prime managed to get a good shot in at Ion Storm, he left himself open to attacks from Acid Storm and Nova Storm.

When Security Operations arrived, they chased away the Rainmakers before Sentinel Prime passed. When the Matrix of Leadership ejected itself from its deceased bearer's chest, it called out to Orion Pax who was reformatted into Optimus Prime. Prime

• The nature of the Slaarg & Turbofox was not specified in the script for issue #25—author Brian Ruckley's script simply called for Sentinel Prime to crash into a civilian building, and while illustrating the issue, line artist Anna Malkova independently came up with the idea of having Sentinel make his last stand in a bar.<ref>Anna Malkova panel at Ia-Con Online</ref>
