In the wake of Cybertron's revival, Sentinel Prime and his followers were invited to Thetacon to recover from their mission. While Sentinel Prime withdrew from public to make plans for Cybertron's near future, his followers roamed the city, planning their own immediate future as they admired their surroundings or questioning their use now that Cybertron was drifting into an era of peace.

Their conversation was interrupted by a scream for help coming from the ground below, where a class of hatchlings on an educational trip were being attacked by a subterranean monster. The two chased away the creature, meeting Starscream, the hatchlings' guard, in the process. Foundation #2
