Thrust (Animated)
| The name or term Thrust refers to more than one character or idea, and why did they all get to have pages first anyway? For a list of other meanings, see Thrust (disambiguation). |
- Thrust will totally show up every other Decepticon in the Animated continuity family.

Thrust can't stand how much taller and straighter Dirge's head cone is than his own! And why should Swindle be the one with all the best weapons? And why were all the other clones made first, huh, huh?! The more he and Dirge travel the universe as Swindle's bodyguard duo, the more Thrust finds to infuriate him in observing all the cool stuff and life advantages everybody else got over him. It's not fair! He didn't ask to be created so late in the game by Swindle reusing some stolen Starscream clone parts, and he certainly didn't ask to be the manifestation of Starscream's personality trait of envy—all the really good ones were already taken by then! Like lying—he could SO do a better job of lying if that slaghead Ramjet hadn't hogged it first!
Notes
[edit]- Thrust's sole, brief appearance is in The AllSpark Almanac II. He bears the dubious distinction of being the only Animated Starscream clone to get not only no in-show portrayal but also no toy as well. Makes sense he'd have so much to envy, then!
- Thrust was initially planned as representing greed with Dirge representing envy,[1] but this was swapped in the published version.
Foreign names
[edit]- Japanese: Thrust (スラスト Surasuto)
