Tim Gordon is one of the Autobots' human allies on Earth. He and his older brother John are both physicists and geographical experts.

The Battle for Planet Earth

John and Tim accompanied the Autobots on an energy-seeking mission to South America, where they spotted Mount Sheelah. As the Autobots were unfamiliar with volcanoes, Tim gave them a detailed rundown, and Optimus Prime thought that it might be possible to tap the volcano for energy. They ascended to the top of the mountain, where John and Tim became concerned that the volcano would soon erupt. During the arrival of the Decepticons and the subsequent fight, the two brothers managed to persuade Optimus to call a retreat, and the Autobots got away before the eruption took place, trapping the Decepticons with lava. Optimus thanked the pair before they returned to their mission. Terror of Mount Sheelah
