Transformers: Beast Wars Ramune
Transformers: Beast Wars Ramune (トランスフォーマービーストウォーズラムネ Toransufōmā Bīsuto Wōzu Ramune) was a line of candy toys produced by Kabaya. Sold with fizzy candies, this series took the form of small, non-poseable PVC figurines, which spanned the whole of the Beast Era in Japan.
The series began with two waves dedicated to the original Beast Wars cartoon cast, with a few non-show characters thrown in to bulk the line up. Following this, it was reinvented to tie in with the Japanese-exclusive Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo franchises, under which banners it was renamed Beast Wars Ramune W and Beast Wars Model Selection Ramune, respectively. In this form, the figures came two-to-a-pack, with one figure of a character in robot mode, and another of a different character in their alternate mode. Finally, the series reverted to its original single-figure format for its final Beast-themed hurrah, as Metals Hero Ramune.
Kabaya also sold several model kits under the Ramune sub-header, as the separate series, Metallic Beast Ramune.
