Transformers: Construct-Bots was a mobile app designed to tie in with the Construct-Bots toyline. In addition to versions for iOS and Android, it could also be played as a browser game on Hasbro's website via the Unity web player.
Gameplay
[edit]Players can customize their own Construct-Bots, with hundreds of different available parts. Newer, stronger parts can be acquired by purchasing them with in-game coins or by scanning codes on specially marked Transformers toys. The app will also list the Construct-Bot packs that need to be purchased if the player wanted to recreate their bot using the real-life toys. Once they have finished creating their bots, players can pick their faction and name using pre-set words, and view them performing different pre-built animations such as transformation or dances. Players can also send their bots into battles, which are fully non-interactive, with the winner determined automatically based on the power of their selected parts. At launch, players could select between Shockwave's laboratory, a space bridge, or a third "mystery location" on Cybertron, each of which had multiple "missions" with harder opponents to beat. Additional missions, in which the player battles Grimlock in Hong Kong, were added in a later update. Players will gain additional coins each time they complete a mission, though losing a battle will sometimes cause bots' parts to be damaged, requiring players pay to repair them before they can be used again.
Prior to service's shutdown, players could submit their designs to the "Best Bot Showcase" to show off their creations to ot Each location her users, or view a gallery of Construct-Bots promotional videos.
