Transformers Robots in Disguise: A New Mission is a single-issue adaptation of the pilot of the 2015 Robots in Disguise cartoon series, published by IDW Publishing January 2016.

Overview

In the same vein as the Transformers Animated and Transformers: Prime adaptations, this was a digest-sized comic made out of screenshots from the first two episodes of the cartoon, "Pilot (Part 1)" and "Pilot (Part 2)". Unlike the other two adaptations, this was unnumbered and there appears to be no follow-up volumes to adapt the remaining episodes. (Not that this prevented the final panel from being captioned with "Not the end!")

Creative team

The book credits writers Adam Beechen & Duane Capizzi, who wrote the two pilot episodes, with adaptation by Justin Eisinger, edits by Alonzo Simon, publishing by Ted Adams, and lettering & design by Gilberto Lazcano.
