Curiously, these "fruit-flavored snacks" do not resemble the seed pods of any of the native flora of Earth in shape, color, or even flavor. Rather, they appear to be composed of high-energy carbohydrates distilled from the grains that form the planet's staple crops. The nutrition of humans remains a mystery to Cybertronian science to this day.

After Animated finished its run, Betty Crocker continued producing the snacks. They were simply rebranded as generic Transformers product, and the image of Optimus Prime on the front was replaced with one of movie Bumblebee.
