Notes
[edit]- Tracks 1-5, 7, and 14 do not appear in the film, but instead are suites of themes used throughout the movie.
- The tracks used in the film are also slightly out of order, with "Trespaxxing" appearing at the very beginning and "Hidden Truth" appearing right after "The Ultimate Betrayal."
- A section of the film's main theme soundtrack for this film repurposes a secondary theme from the Transformers: Prime score. Fittingly, it is used to represent the Thirteen Primes in this film, with its first appearance occurring at 3:54 into the main theme suite. It later appears in "More Than Meets The Eye," "Resting Place of the Primes," and "The Fall".
- "The Fall" interpolates [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Dies irae|{{#if:||Dies irae}}]] ("Day of Wrath" in Latin), an oft-quoted four-note passage from [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Requiem|{{#if:the Catholic Requiem Mass|the Catholic Requiem Mass|Requiem}}]], which is commonly used to represent death or tragedy in film scores. As such, this means it very strongly resembles "Death of Optimus Prime" from The Transformers: The Movie. Quite the appropriate easter egg.
- Tyler incorporated a Yamaha CS-80 into the score to pay tribute to Vangelis, which the composer cites as an influence.
