I am totally 16.

Trent DeMarco is the stereotypical jock: he's on the football team (tight end),<ref>Film novelization, pg 32</ref> has big arms and washboard abs, has a sweet ride, has a smokin' hot girlfriend, and hates nerds.

Lord knows why he's wearing a candy necklace.

Trent was in the same classroom when Sam Witwicky peddled presented his grandfather's possessions. During the course of the presentation, Trent flicked a rubber band at Sam, to the amusement of the other students in his social clique.

Later, Trent was at the lake, hanging out with his undoubtedly popular buddies when Sam came along with his not so spankin' new car and weird, tree-climbing friend. When questioned, Sam said that they were there to climb a nearby tree. Trent remembered that Sam tried out for the football team the last year and failed. Sam countered, saying that he was "researching" for a book he was writing. "What's it about? Sucking at sports?" "No, it's about the link between brain damage and football." Needless to say, Trent was about to cave in Sam's face until Mikaela cooled him off.

Trent decided to leave the losers and go to a party. When Mikaela asked to drive Trent's truck, he laughed off the idea, and said that his "little bunny" should go to the back seat. Of course, Mikaela left him behind in a huff. Transformers

Trent Demarco's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the novels "Transformers," and "Transformers: The Junior Novel," the comic mini-series "Transformers: Movie Adaptation," and the storybook "Transformers: The Movie Storybook."

Sometime later, Sam and Miles went to the movies in the former's shiny new Camaro. As misfortune would have it, Trent was also at the cinema, but they managed to avoid him throughout the night. After Sam drove Miles home, his car made some comment about how he "made the sucka pay", but wouldn't elaborate on what he did. Meanwhile, back at the cinema, Trent was horrified to discover his truck had somehow been flipped onto its roof. Tales of the Fallen #1

Notes

[edit]
  • Referred to only as "Trent" in the film and its credits, his last name is given in the novelization of the film.
  • In 2009, Travis Van Winkle appeared in the Michael Bay-produced [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Friday the 13th (2009 film)|{{#if:remake of Friday the 13th|remake of Friday the 13th|Friday the 13th (2009 film)}}]] as another preppy, bullying jock character named Trent. Same character? Same cinematic universe? Well, if the answer is "yes" then that would explain why Trent never appeared in any of the Transformers sequels. RIP Trent.
