Tri-Torus

The Tri-Torus region of Cybertron refers to three adjacent city-states in the southern hemisphere: Petrohex, Polyhex, and Dodecahex. The extreme proximity of their borders (compared to the more-typical semi-isolated polities of the planet) often leads to the three city-states being referred to as one region.

It is sometimes written as Tri-torus.<ref>Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II</ref>

The AllSpark Almanac

[edit]

Devastator Winds warnings for the North East Tri-torus area were reported by ALTernity Today. They also reported that Pipo urged residents to stay below Level 4 until the winds died down and that all public landcross service had been temporarily suspended. The AllSpark Almanac II

Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

The Tri-Torus area was Resistance controlled by the sixth stellar cycle of the Grand Uprising. It was immediately north of the polar Protihex, one of the first areas hit by the Vehicon nano-plague. Resistance command activated Operation Amputation to drop K-Class bombs on Protihex (and similarly afflicted Damaxus and Carpessa). The K-Class for Protihex missed his target window, however, destroying much of uninfected Nuon and Lower Petrohex while failing to destroy all the Vehicons in Protihex.

Tri-Torus was forced to become the first line of defense against the Vehicon advance. The devastation of Lower Petrohex and the surrounding area led some in the Tri-Torus region to consider seceding from the Resistance altogether. One plan suggested was to raise up the administrator, Legend Majora, and declare an independent Tri-Torus State. These murmurings had not become a concrete plan by the time the Vehicons reached Lower Petrohex. In a matter of megacycles, the entire Tri-Torus area, Resistance troops, civilians, and non-combatants were either killed or assimilated by the Vehicons. Derailment
