I tried, but now I'm in a pod.

Tripodeca was injured during Overlord's rampage aboard the Lost Light after Perceptor used him to fire back at the Phase Sixer. He was taken to an emergency triage station that Hoist had set up in Swerve's, but ultimately succumbed to his wounds. No Guns, No Swords, No Briefcases As Spoke and Lockstock were both too badly damaged in the attack to attend, Rodimus himself spoke at Tripodeca's Act of Transition afterwards. The Gloaming

Notes

[edit]
  • In his eulogy, Rodimus described Tripodeca's alt mode as "ineffectual".
  • In our few glimpses of Tripodeca, he is drawn to resemble the Mini-Con High Wire from Transformers: Armada. In the script notes for the funeral scene where he is introduced, James Roberts says "For some reason, in my head, he's reminiscent of Jolt from TF: Armada"; presumably, he'd just gotten mixed up, as the description is much more fitting for High Wire.
