Tunguska is located in Siberia, Russia, and is best known for being the site of a mysterious meteor crash.

[edit]In 1908, Shockwave crashed like a meteor in Tunguska, the impact and resulting explosion knocking him into stasis lock. In 1919, while investigating the crash site, the Russians found Shockwave and captured him. Rising Storm #2

[edit]- "Tunguska" is not an actual place or region; the event was named after the river the historical event took place near. The area is also a [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}taiga|{{#if:||taiga}}]], not a [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}tundra|{{#if:||tundra}}]] as described in Rising Storm.
