Tunnel Forger

The Tunnel Forger is a subterranean exploration vehicle. It is equipped with a series of lasers that converge at a central point, creating a drill that can be used to aid in excavation, and capable of moving at speeds of over 70 MPH.

The Tunnel Forger was built by the scientists of Griffin Rock many years ago, but fell into disuse, with Charlie and Woodrow Burns once finding it abandoned in a tunnel as children. Years later, Woodrow planned to use it to reach a large cavern beneath Griffin Rock, believing it contained evidence of alien life. Though Charlie forbade him from using it, Woodrow ignored him and restored the Forger to working condition, inadvertently joined by his nephew Cody when he tried to stop his uncle. However, the machine immediately lost control upon powering up, and began to drill deeper into the Earth. Cody eventually found the kill switch to shut the Forger off, but their actions destabilized the cavern, causing it to be buried under rubble. What Lies Below
