Tunnel drone

A tunnel drone is a security device from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Autobots really shouldn't farm out their design work to Hentai artists.

A tunnel drone is used to patrol service tunnels. It's a large round robot with four metallic tentacles on the front. According to Red Alert, they are unstoppable and capable of atomizing a Transformer.

While experiencing trouble with his logic circuits, Red Alert was attempting to help Starscream steal the Negavator from the Autobot bunker. Entering through a service tunnel, Red Alert cautioned his companion that they risked discovery by the tunnel drone, which not even he knew how to stop. Indeed, the tunnel drone soon closed in on them as they found their path cut off by a metal grating. Despite Red Alert's warning about the alarms, Starscream blasted a lock, and the "sweet pair" were able to jump to safety as the tunnel drone rolled past. Auto Berserk
