Twinstrike is an ancient Predacon from The Covenant of Primus portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Long ago, the two-headed Twinstrike prowled the Plains of Iacon, alongside his compatriot Lazerback and his leader Predaking. A simple-minded creature at the best of times, Twinstrike used his burning breath to subdue his unfortunate prey.

Twinstrike was one of the first Predacons to emerge from Well of All Sparks.

During the Great Cataclysm, Twinstrike, Predaking, and Lazerback were among the few Predacons to survive the initial wave of death that killed many of their kind. In the aftermath, though, the electromagnetic radiation began interfering with their systems and mental faculties. Under Predaking's orders, the trio of Predacons migrated at nighttime to mitigate their effects, and eventually found a deep gorge that would shield them from the worst of the effects. Lazerback and Twinstrike finally succumbed to the madness, but Predaking managed to force them into stasis lock. The three Predacons were soon forgotten by the world above, who never even knew that they had once existed. The Covenant of Primus

Cyberverse

The Cyberverse Twinstrike toy was repurposed as Twinstrike's template.
Part of the first wave of Prime: Beast Hunters Series 3 Cyberverse Legion Class toys, Twinstrike transforms into a twin-headed dragon, and comes with a "Piston Hammer" which can also be used as a cannon. His dragon head hands can hold the weapon via the latter's three 3mm posts, and he and the weapon feature numerous 3mm mounting points.
His instructions neglect to mention that his feet should be rotated during transformation. Also not called out in the instructions, Twinstrike combines with Cyberverse Hun-Gurrr, Windrazor, Predacon Rippersnapper, and Blight to form Abominus, with Twinstrike forming the left arm.
The figure suffers from a design flaw; the rotating leg armor does not pull out quite far enough, lacking the clearance to cleanly swivel from lower to upper leg. A little bit of force will get into place, but do it enough, and the pin that holds it in place is likely to pop out.
His hammer accessory was also used, in varying colors, by Prowl, Blight, and Rot Gut. This toy was redecoed into Go! Garara. This toy was also repurposed as Generation 1 Sinnertwin/Twinstrike by Transformers Legends and IDW's Windblade series.
