U.S. 1 is a vehicle from Marvel.
Pig Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck. I'm about to put the hammer down.

U.S. 1 is a semi-truck. Its driver has more important things to do than to get involved with the Transformers.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

[edit]

As a convoy of Autobots drove to investigate a mountain fortress the Decepticons had constructed in Oregon, U.S. 1 drove past them on an overhead ramp, and did not involve itself in their inter-stellar conflict. Prisoner of War!

Notes

[edit]
  • U.S. 1 was a line of slot car trucks produced by Tyco. The toyline was adapted by Marvel into a comic, in which U.S. 1 was a sentient semi-truck belonging to Ulysses Solomon "U.S." Archer, a cybernetically enhanced trucker.
  • The legal indicia in each issue of U.S. 1 made clear that, apart from the titular truck, all original characters and concepts were property of Marvel. This has allowed U.S. Archer and his supporting cast to periodically appear in new comics, while the U.S. 1 truck remained a property of Tyco (and probably Mattel now). No such disclaimer was printed for U.S. 1's cameo in "Prisoner of War!".
