Energon Universe

While cruising in the Pacific Ocean, the Henry Harrison was ordered to the coast of Washington state to hunt for "giant robots." Transformers #7 What the Harrison's crew didn't know was that while they'd their sights set on the giant robots, the giant robots likewise had their sights on the carrier, as two of them — Soundwave and Thundercracker — launched an attack on the carrier, making mincemeat of the ship's defences, and an order was given to abandon ship. Thundercracker wanted to take pity on the humans and let them live, but Soundwave reminded Thundercracker that they didn't want to leave any witnesses, and sunk the ship's lifeboats.

However, Soundwave and Thundercracker weren't done with the Harrison, as they took care not to sink her until they positioned her at a specific point, whereupon they scuttled her so that she lay next to where the Constructicons were unearthing the sunken Nemesis. They then hooked the Harrison's nuclear reactor up to the Nemesis, allowing them to restore power to their starship and make her their base of operations on Earth, as well as allow them to contact Cybertron. Notes

• The Henry Harrison is named for the ninth President of the United States, [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}William Henry Harrison|{{#if:||William Henry Harrison}}]]. This follows a tradition of aircraft carriers and other Navy ships being named after Presidents, though in real life, Harrison is one of the Presidents to not have a single Naval vessel named for him. Harrison infamously was the first president to die in office, which also wound up making him the president with the shortest term—he was only in office for thirty-one days, which was probably intended to foreshadow the ship's quick destruction.
• Transformers #7 and #8 misspell the ship's name as the "USS Henry Harrisson".
