Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I've been seen with Megan.
I'm never seen with anything less than a nine, so fine.

They might fall from a tall building,
They might roll a brand new car.
'Cause they're the "unknown Constructicon" that made Devastator such a star.

Revenge of the Fallen film

[edit]

During the climactic battle in Egypt between the Autobots, their human allies and The Fallen's Decepticons, the unknown Constructicon appeared in a quarry with the other Constructicons, and presumably combined with the group to become Devastator. When Devastator was destroyed by the experimental rail gun fired from the USS Kidd, the unknown Constructicon was presumably killed. Revenge of the Fallen

Notes

[edit]
  • This truck appears only briefly, lining up with the other Constructicons before the team merges into Devastator; the truck doesn't appear during Devastator's actual combination sequence, so there's no indication what—if any—part of the combiner they form. Due to the fact they line up next to Skipjack and share his yellow colouration, it's popularly been claimed they join with him to form Devastator's left leg, but there's no actual evidence for this; in reality, none of the truck's parts are visible on Devastator, and by all appearances, the combiner was never designed with this truck as part of him.
  • Though the unknown Constructicon has a similar alternate mode to another one of Devastator's components, Long Haul, it uses a different, longer model of dump truck. The 2010 toyline would introduce a yellow recolour of Long Haul named Payload, but he was based on the Constructicon Warriors from the Revenge of the Fallen video games, rather than the yellow truck seem in the film, and no official source has yet made a connection between him and his unnamed dump truck.
  • Oddly, the dump truck that transforms into Supreme Devastator's right leg is supposed to represent Long Haul and is thus green, though the shape and details of the vehicle look much more like the unknown dump truck than Long Haul's alternate mode.
  • When asked, Hasbro neither had a name for this poor sod nor recognised their existence as a part of Devastator (saying there were only seven Constructicons in Devastator).
    • As of the Studio Series line, Hasbro/TakaraTomy have still neglected to acknowledge the existence of this Constructicon, despite changing their original stance on how many Constructicons form Devastator.
