Testing this out

[edit]

First, a disclaimer.

[edit]

This page may or may not use designations not officially sanctioned by Hasbro, Takara, TFWiki, or anyone who is or was ever affiliated with these groups. Unless it's like, already officially documented on the wiki. IDK, just use some common sense here.

I am still a novice at wiki editing.

[edit]

Please be kind. I'm using this page as a practice exercise for editing actual wiki pages.

Does this automatically generate the content box?

[edit]

No, it doesn't. Oh wait, I figured that out.

A bit of organizing

[edit]

I am creating this section as a means of getting a hang of the coding required to create lists.

What if it was PURPLE?

[edit]

This section seeks to make note of the various War for Cybertron Trilogy molds that utilize translucent purple as part of their deco.

Siege molds

Earthrise molds

Kingdom molds

Kamen Rider homages

[edit]
Whether or not the transforming green-and-red grasshopper guy based on a Japanese toy from the 80s is actually a Kamen Rider homage remains unclear.

While the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Kamen Rider|{{#if:||Kamen Rider}}]] series currently falls outside the scope of this wiki's coverage, its popularity in Japan and among Transformers fans has led to a number of homages over the years; this section seeks to consolidate the ones I've found on this wiki into one place. If I've missed any, please let me know. If there are any errors with these, please correct the original pages first, and then get back to me. {{ #if: {{#ifexpr: 1 }}

"Double Convoy" is likely a reference to the teamup of Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2 from the original Kamen Rider.
As Daniel is getting into bed, Wheelie strikes a pose that references Kamen Rider 1's transformation pose.
A member of Lockdown's crew is based on V3.
Another member of Lockdown's crew is based on Den-O.
On page 4, two insectoid prisoners loosely homaging the titular heroes of the Kamen Rider series are seen arm wrestling. On page 9, a prisoner more directly based on Amazon is seen among the chaos.
Drift says "Taiyo-no-ko" (太陽の子), meaning "child of the sun." This may be a reference to Black RX; the titular character refers to himself as such, and the first episode of the show has the phrase as part of its title.
In most Japanese media, the Decepticons are referred to as "Destrons", a name shared by the evil organization in V3. While this may just be a coincidence, it should be noted that V3 aired about a decade before Transformers, which means this could possibly be an intentional reference.
Sky-Byte's Japanese name "Gelshark" is possibly a reference to Gel-Shocker from the original Kamen Rider. In addition to this, he shares a similar color scheme as the Gel-Shocker henchmen.
