Transformers Collector & Avid TFWiki Reader
[edit]Christopher Galletta Stevens, who goes by the nicknames of "Chrusher" and "ChrusherComix" is a graphic artist/cartoonist/graphic novelist who is a lifelong Transformers fan and credits G1 Transformers with one of the biggest reasons for being an artist/writer.
Initially hating the annoying possessed kids in the Transformer commercials, his hatred changed to love for the franchise when schoolmates brought Transformers to school and he began to watch the cartoon series. Brainwash a success: Hooked for life.
Unlike many in his age group who lost/broke/threw away/blew up/sold their collections, he still has the entire collection of 1984-87 from his childhood (every character released, mostly complete and with all boxes, extras, and odd rarities), the entire G1 cartoon collection on DVD (twice, actually, not including VHS tapes from 1980s airings), and Marvel Comic Collections from his childhood. In addition to his vintage collection, he also has large amounts of Transformers and Transformers collectibles from 1984-current, including partial, near-complete, and complete collections from various eras and brands. His preferred collection is G1-related, although he collects some from most series. He now plugs away holes in his later G1 collection as well as keeping up his Masterpiece Transformers collection as complete as possible.
He has thoroughly enjoyed reading the TF Wiki since stumbling across it and hopes to contribute if he finds something worthy. (He may have some things, like a reverse-colored Microman/Microchange Frenzy with package for pictures). In particular, he wishes he could help find a holy grail, such as the 1986 Hot Rod go-kart (because he is a karter himself - cross-collectible?), but all of his searches have turned up as fruitless as anybody's. Yet.
Chris is often found dropping knowledge via quoting and linking to TFWiki articles on a Facebook Masterpiece Transformers Collector Group, where he is now an elected moderator. [1]
He has a website with his artwork (a comic book, a comic strip, a graphic novel, and a children's book) and YouTube videos (primarily of his karting club), but does not want to seem like a spammer, so was afraid to post it. Then again, he sadly does need to get more readers, so here it is: www.Chrusher.com [2]. He already feels guilty for writing his own user entry, especially because he lost his password for his first username, "ChrusherComix" and can't get it to re-send. :P
