Transformers: Hero was a planned installment in the long-running Transformers franchise. The show was eventually turned into Transformers: Animated.

Fiction

Little is known about the original story ideas of the show. It presumably would have been a new continuity. It is likely that the "superhero" theme of Animated was present from the start given the title. Many of the Animated characters (and their distinctive traits) were present during Hero.

The design aesthetic for Hero varied greatly from the later Animated line. The Hero characters had much more intricate designs.
