Ironhide is the most awesome Autobot of all time, regardless of continuity.
You wanna mess with me? Typical. The young generation gets more stupid every time I meet 'em.

In case you could not tell, my favorite character is Ironhide (G1). Particularly I like his cartoon character the best.

More about me:

-I am not a GEEWUNER, though I do not like Beast Wars or the Movie continuity. See below for more details.

-I lead a very busy life, so do not expect me to be on too often- I will go on when I can.

The Many Reasons Why Ironhide is the Best Transformer of All History

General

1.He may be Optimuss Prime's Oldest Friend- if Dion was rebuilt, it would make a lot more sense to have Ironhide be the result and not Ultra Magnus... who shows up way later.

2. He is still one of the original Transformers, and one of the most famous.

3. He has been selected to the Transformers Hall of Fame.

Well, bots have survived worse. Also, you don't have to have a body to be counted dead, say, if the shuttle had not been found. They would assume all hands were lost and then honor them as heroes- but they could of survived and been found later. Just one of the many possible outcomes of what could have happened.


4. He can fly.

5. He has a separate compartment.

6. He came back from retirement.

7. He stopped a volcano from erupting.

8.He can use many different liquids to his advantage.

9.Calmly destroyed a supercomputer controlled machine with just a finger.

10.Saved the real Prime's life by taking over the Autobots till the doppelganger was discovered.

11. He dislikes terrible music.

12. Hit a home run against the Decepticons- particularly, Thrust.

13. He survived Megatron's point blank fusion cannon(or came back on line somehow), see picture.

My stand on Transformers

While my favorite continuity is G1, I am not a GEEWUNer. I like the Animated continuity and the Aligned community. Still, I do not particullarily like beast wars, but cannot stand the Michael Bay Movies(Bayformers, Revenge of the Failure, Dark of the Groan, and Age of Insanity) because they are terrible, not because I automatically dislike anything not G1, but I just do not like them. I actually wrote an essay on why I dislike the movie continuity, though I'm not going to post it yet.

Ironhide G1 toy is awful( I call it the headless horseman). That is why below I have links and a description to a masterpiece quality toy of Ironhide- the PPO5W Weapons Specialist aka "not Ironhide". Fantastic toy, if you need one G1 Ironhide toy, he is the one to get. Definitely masterpiece quality. The only downside is the price. It comes with a whole slew of weapons. See the image above. It is awesome!Yeah. An actual correct G1 Ironhide toy that has a head and whose head does not bow in shame or whose vehicle mode looks like a jigsaw puzzle.
