Generation 1

[edit]
What am I rebelling against? Lack of articulation, mostly.
  • Hot Rod Patrol (Micromaster Patrol, 1990)
Big Daddy transforms into a black and orange modified 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air hot rod convertible. While the rest of his team also have large rear wheels, the rear of Big Daddy's vehicle mode is large and raised, making his rear wheels look especially huge. In robot mode, the purple paint on his face is so dark it is practically indistinguishable from black.
He was sold in 1990 as part of the Hot Rod Patrol, along with Greaser, Hubs, and Trip-Up.

Return of Convoy

[edit]
  • Hot Rod Team (Micro Trailer Team, 1991)
    • Japanese ID number: C-362
    • Accessories: Micro Trailer #2
In Japan, the Hot Rod Patrol was sold only as a complete set with Micro Trailer #2. The individuals are physically identical to their Hasbro releases.

Transformers (2007)

[edit]
Realistic AYYYYYY.
  • Big Daddy (Deluxe, 2008)
    • Accessories: Left & right missile launchers, 2 missiles, Autobot Cybertron-style Cyber Key
Evidence suggests that Movie Big Daddy was originally intended for release in the Universe line as a new toy for the original Big Daddy,<ref>Hasbro customer service database summary</ref> and is thus included here for your interest.
A Wal-Mart exclusive, Transformers: AllSpark Power Big Daddy is a redeco of Cybertron Downshift, transforming into a muscle car that combines elements from various 1970s era muscle and pony cars, and with an orange and black color scheme as an homage to the Generation 1 Micromaster of the same name.
In either mode, inserting a Cyber Key into a flip-up slot in his rear window springs open a claw from the car's grill. He comes with two large spring-loaded missile launchers, which can peg via 5mm post on his vehicle side-panels/robot legs, or mount on his shoulders. He comes with a clear-red Cybertron-style Cyber Key.
This mold suffers from a design flaw: Even though his head has a swivel joint, it's rendered useless because the ridges on his chest (the air vents in vehicle mode) get in the way in both directions.
This toy was later repurposed as Shattered Glass Big Daddy.
