I'm an American who sort of had the benefit of living from August 1985 to August 1987 in the UK. I say sort of because I got exposed to the UK comics and their "fill-in" stories ... but also got denied the ability to purchase, what, a good 30 percent of the toys available in the U.S.? (I mean no Swoop, for real? Why do you have to give us four Dinobots but not the fifth?)

That computer drawing of Shockwave in robot and gun mode on the "Soundwaves" page in Transformers UK #59? That was mine, done on a PC Jr., of all things, brought over from the U.S. ... I ended up getting Wheelie from Marvel after sending the picture again with my name and address on it but never got my name in the comic book and 24 years later I'm demanding credit!!! (You don't know how much I sobbed when they published the picture without my name.) Also, Wheelie? Worst toy ever.
