botcon rant

i honestly prefer when botcon toys don't get new figures. like it's cool to have an easier to get versions of the characters i like but i think the proportions of the botcon toy help make them unique and not just " Scorponok with a sandy color scheme and the mutant head." Like i know it's just me but like i prefer them to look more different than a flat recolor and more like two guys who just look similar. the only times i don't really care are with Shattered Glass Characters because they're meant to be opposites to the normal guys, but with others it just doesn't work.

otfcc defensor is the best version of defensor

they should make a full rewrite of the g1 timeline with BM and the 3h stuff but with more modern elements and stuff from idw and skybound and stuff. like so many things that are really cool, like the thirteen, messengers of unicron, the vok, knights of cybertron, nemesis prime, and more adult elements just didn't exist at that point in time. and they could explain away Shokaract just a vehicon drone instead of a trooper, Sandstorm could be techno-organic and it would make sense because he was made by Primus so he would be perfect to fight Shokaract. they should.

i fucking hate when The Fallen is called "Megatronus prime". it sucks. megatron is an original guy, and who would name a random mining drone "Satan Jr." (except in like aligned i guess). I can cope with Galvatronus and Liege Maximo, But not Megatronus. call him like Destronus so it sounds evil and is a homage to Decepticons.

they should make transtech an actual toyline and tv show. a more adult oriented transformers show with harder transformations and more realistic characters would be awesome. especially because i am the world's only beast machines fan and i like the idea of biomechanical cars and the prototype designs look awesome.
