Article needs work
[edit]Stub notices
[edit]Stub notices are used to add a notice to an article that it is missing information in a particular area or areas. They automatically place the article they are used on into a stub category.
- Template:Stub - The grandaddy of them all and the most basic/generic stub template. Use this if no other stub template is appropriate.
- Template:Bookstub - Used to denote that an article about a book is incomplete.
- Template:Businessstub - Used to denote that an article about a company or business is incomplete.
- Template:Charstub - Used to denote that an article about a character is incomplete. Use this if the character article is missing more than one type of information.
- Template:Charstubfiction - Used to denote that an article about a character is missing only information on their fictional appearances.
- Template:Charstubgame - Used to denote that an article about a character is missing only information on their video game appearances.
- Template:Charstubtoys - Used to denote that an article about a character is missing only information on their toys/and or merchandise.
- Template:Comicstub - Used to denote that an article about a comic series, compliation/TPB, feature or continuity is incomplete.
- Template:Creatorstub - Used to denote that an article about a creator is incomplete.
- Template:Epstub - Used to denote that an article about a cartoon episode is incomplete.
- Template:Gasmestub - Used to denote that an article about a video game is incomplete.
- Template:Groupstub - Used to denote that an article about a faction, government, organization or subgroup is incomplete.
- Template:Issuestub - Used to denote that an article about a comic issue is incomplete.
- Template:Locationstub - Used to denote that an article about a location (real or fictional) is incomplete.
- Template:Musicstub - Used to denote that a music related article is incomplete.
- Template:Toystub - Used to denote that a non-character article is missing only information on toys and/or merchandise.
Miscellaneous
[edit]Template: Audioneeded - Used to denote that an article needs audio. Template: Cleanup - Used to denote that an article has issues that don't fall into any of the other categories. This typically includes things like the writing not following our style guidelines, page formatting, and other broader issues. Template:Excessivesarcasm - Used to denote that an article is using excessive sarcasm or snark. Like we'd ever use that. Template:Fact - This template is used to mark sections of an article where an incomplete passage or one with information from an obscure source is used without citation. The article will be placed in so other editors can find and add the source. If the information in question is likely or definitely false it should be removed or brought up for discussion. Template:Mainpic - Used a placeholder main article picture. This will place the article into to bring attention to the fact the article is need of a main image. If the character or concept described in the article has no visual representation, Template:X should be used instead. Template:Picsneeded - Denotes that an article is need of pictures other than the main image. Template:Tobedeleted - Used to tag articles as being a proposed candidate for deletion. Editors will then be able to debate the merits of the deletion on the article's talk page. For articles that do not require a discussion and are blindingly surplus to requirements, see Template:Speedydeletion
