Hi, the images you're uploading to illustrate Ruination and Landfill are not really suitable, because they show the toys separate and in their packaging instead of assembled as the characters in question. We really prefer to have images of toys out of their packaging so they can be seen better. Also images should have better names than "23293.jpg" - please see our image policy page for more information. --abates 19:03, 28 May 2011 (EDT)

Yeah, we're looking for good photos that try to match the standards of our other photos (be they Hasbro/TakaraTomy stock photography, our own work or otherwise), rather than just any image of the subject that turns up on google image search. --FFN 19:15, 28 May 2011 (EDT)
Your Energon Micromaster Protectobots image was useful! Though due to the nondescript filename, it had to be deleted and reuploaded under a new name. --FFN 19:38, 28 May 2011 (EDT)

I should ask: Where did you get the photos from? You are supposed to enter information when you upload images. --FFN 21:23, 3 June 2011 (EDT)

Mostly through google searching and I just mash it into one image. Railbots and Aerialbots were from TFW2005. --Crossblades 21:27, 3 June 2011 (EDT)

Ahh, well, in that case you would need to credit the site you found it on if it isn't a stock Hasbro photo. --FFN 21:38, 3 June 2011 (EDT)

And please try to upload images of a worthwhile size, and give them nice, descriptive filenames. The Image Policy page should be useful to you. --Detour 15:19, 10 June 2011 (EDT)

I am pretty damn sure we did not come to a consensus yet on splitting Cryotek. --ItsWalky (talk) 18:58, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Well if you want to revert it back to the way it was, be my guest. Based on the original discussion, it seem everyone was in favor of a split once we got more info for RID Cryotek. And the latest AVP gave plenty of info on him that warranted it. By like I said, feel free to change it back - Crossblades (talk) 19:05, 1 October 2015 (EDT)
And it seems that no one minds the split because it's been up for almost an hour now and no one has removed it. From my experience, when something gets edited that it's not supposed to, it gets undone immediately. Crossblades
It's because it's a goddamned complicated issue, is why, but you jumped the gun on it. Plus I don't personally really have the friggin' time while building every piece of IKEA furniture known to man to revert giant-ass changes to old articles done unilaterally without consensus. --ItsWalky (talk) 20:09, 1 October 2015 (EDT)
An hour? Are you fucking kidding me? --M Sipher (talk) 22:39, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Copy-pasting

[edit]

Please don't copy-paste fiction for articles. The fact that you changed a few sentences here and there does not magically make that okay. Jalaguy (talk) 13:36, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

Endo

[edit]

A character model is not a toy. Endo is not based on any particular toy, nor are there any toys that even look like him. Find better uses of your time other than stamping your feet whenever another user disagrees with you. Saix (talk) 13:43, 25 December 2015 (EST)

Don't you think you should apply to your own advice? Crossblades (talk) 14:15, 25 December 2015 (EST)

Universe Oil Slick toy images

[edit]

It seems you uploaded this image of the Universe Oil Slick toy. Were they stock images, or were they taken by you? -Foffy the Sheep (talk) 17:33, 8 February 2016 (EST)

They were from seibertron.com. I got 2 images one for robot mode another for vehicle mode and put the two together into one image. Crossblades (talk) 17:38, 8 February 2016 (EST)
And seibertron.com is fine with this? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 19:50, 8 February 2016 (EST)
Images from Seibertron are generally okay, so long as you credit them (put "Image(s) courtesy of Seibertron.com" or something like that) Make sure you don't take from sites like TFU.info though, as toy images are pretty much their entire content, so snatching their images would be kind of rude. -Foffy the Sheep (talk) 20:02, 8 February 2016 (EST)
