That's a little contradictory since there are external links all over this site that isn't in the External Links section. So what specifically don't you like about it? Being misled into thinking you're going onto Lindsey Lohan's Wikipedia article, but instead go to Mandy Moore's? (or something like that) What I meant exactly was that in almost every issue's page there's an Advertisment section showing what else is from the same publisher (that's why I used Star Trek as an example). So could some of those advertisments have an external link to another wiki site that would specialise (or have more insight) in that particular title. Probation appeal

So, the incident that led to my probation was proposing that Dead End (Animated) move to "Dead End (Timelines)" on the basis that that was his franchise-of-origin. I brought the issue up on the Allspark's "Major Wiki work" thread because I had no idea why it was reverted and I couldn't talk about it here (because of the probation thing). The conclusion seemed to be that I was technically correct, but the Wiki just didn't want to do it that way.

The idea of moving the BotCon-exclusive Animated characters to a "Timelines" disambig is just one of those occasional instances where the instruction to "ignore all standards" comes into play. Sometimes, it's just easier, more aesthetically pleasing, or just feels RIGHT to do things a certain way that may not be the way everything else is done.{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Chris McFeely|Chris McFeely{{#if:|, {{{3}}}|}}|}}

I went about everything the right way, as far as I know. I put one move proposal tag on one page so it could be talked about. I gave a technically correct reason, "Franchise of origin. Like Cop-Tur (Timelines)". I do my best to remember to not do what I have been hollered at for doing in the past, but seriously, I had no way of knowing I was stepping into an instance of "ignore all standards". All you really had to do was revert my one move proposal with a big "We are ignoring all standards you moron!" in the change log. You would have felt better for hollering at me and I would have been clued in on what was going on and that would have been the end of it. Vector Sigma Chamber - I have no clue how it could be written so that it's significantly different from the Vector Sigma page. You've stated you believe it could be an article with its own worth. If you have time, would you please give the page its long needed update?
Meanwhile, I have never been able to track down the source that the Nemesis is Shockwave's underwater base in the Marvel comics. You and Derik talked about the source being one of the letters pages, but would you have any idea which issue's letters page?

Quite agreed. Seems fairly obvious that it was originally going to be a human-built endeavour (it's the "Ares V" in the comic), but then someone said "Why do they need a human rocket if our script already features a pre-existing Autobot spaceship as a plot point?", and it got shoved in earlier without any real reworking of the later intro scene. - Chris McFeely 11:38, 5 July 2011 (EDT)
