Karhukjnsi, while I don't agree with how Detour treated you, he is essentially correct in that we prefer people to make more significant contributions before changing captions. Regardless of that fact, I apologize to you on the wiki's behalf.
(I still don't quite understand why you have been signing your messages as two different people, though...) --Monzo 03:05, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- I do understand the contributions bit, I agree with that, it makes sense. So I shall make more contributions to the site, most likely in the forms of the comics. As for the signatures. When I initially signed up, I must've saw something about a signature and assumed it automatically posted with the timestamp, it wasn't until a little more posting that I discovered the button above. So when I put (- Karhukjnsi) I was putting down the "official" name you see on my page, while the "Beerclaw" name is the pseudonym I go by in real life. I accept your apology, I also accept the contributions part, so I shall place some in the (near) future. As for signatures, what would you personally prefer and I shall change it as to allow an easier experience on the site? --The Beerclaw 03:13, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- Generally, we prefer your signature to be your chosen user name, the one automatically included with the time stamp when you click the signature button. However, so long as you link your signature to your actual user name, like you did above, an alias isn't out of line.--Apcog 03:15, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- What Apcog and Rosicrucian have explained sum up everything pretty well. Thanks again for your understanding. --Monzo 03:48, 6 January 2010 (EST)
