I think we've gotten off on the wrong foot; we've had a lot of people signing up just to stir trouble recently, so I've been on edge. I apologize for attacking you, I shouldn't of been that quick to anger or assuming bad intent. Escargon (talk) 14:47, 21 March 2022 (EDT)
- I only saw this now, just after leaving the Discord server to try and iron out the apparent confusion and just causing more. Apology means a lot, thank you. From the conversations I had with a few other people there, it does seem like "hey I'm here as a newly registered account" set off alarm bells and in that context "You guys are nuts" comes across as hostile, regardless of how I meant it to be read. I'm a strong believer in "LURK MOAR" and since I've been lurking the Wiki since 2007 (hence the username!), thought that would be enough, but still ended up oblivious to any recent actions putting folks in a state of high alert. Careless on my part and I guess my comeuppance is that it's clearly undermined whatever pespective it was I wanted to share. --NOISEMAZE (talk) 15:15, 21 March 2022 (EDT)
- Just wanted to add that not long after your posts were added to Wheelie's talk page, a previously banned troll user came in to start stirring up trouble by changing the content of Cyberlink's replies and made about four alt accounts around the same time to mess with other articles, so I was almost ready to believe this was also one of those alts too. So if anything, your posts that were coming off combative (which I'm not here to argue if they were or not), mixed with an opportunistic troll, made for an overall mixed impression (for the record though, admins checked and confirmed that you're clean). -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 18:59, 21 March 2022 (EDT)
