|}} If you haven't yet contributed anything, we'd really rather you didn't simply change jokes or add new ones without adding actual content. This also holds true for removing captions whole-hog or replacing them with "information" that really isn't. |

Please do something more productive than adding unfunny captions. Saix (talk) 11:54, 8 September 2015 (EDT)
Combiner Wars G2 Blackjack
[edit]Why did you upload 3 versions of that picture? You could have uploaded the better version over the other one. Or you could have moved the file if the name you chose was not good. --Khajidha (talk) 12:49, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
Uploading images
[edit]Your effort is appreciated, but some things to note when uploading images: Firstly, toy stock photos ought to be at dimensions roughly in the range 500-1000 pixels. 300 or 250 pixels is way too small - you can choose what size a thumbnail displays at in an article (see pre-existing images for examples). Secondly, you should only be crediting yourself in the image description if it's genuinely original content, like photos you took yourself of the toy, not just for compositing stock photos. You should also add the appropriate template when uploading stock photos, as this ensures they are categorised correctly - for Generations toys, this would be {{generationsstock}}. Thanks. Jalaguy (talk) 04:47, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
- Again, please don't upload toy images that aren't of sufficient quality. This includes pictures of the back of the packaging or very early prototypes. Saix (talk) 05:45, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
Silhouetted promo images
[edit]Uploading these and declaring which characters they are is reeeeeeeally jumping the gun. We have no idea if that combiner guy's going to be named Galvatronus. There's no need to put this on Cyclonus's page yet, either. There is nothing announced for that toy than the outward shape of it. Please do not create these things on pages when we have so little information that you have to fill in the blanks yourself. --ItsWalky (talk) 11:13, 24 October 2015 (EDT)
"It's" versus "its"
[edit]- "it's" is a contraction, short for "it is".
- "its" is the possessive form of it.

Computron
[edit]This is not an officially-announced release. Do not add information till its existence is confirmed besides leaks. Saix (talk) 15:30, 11 January 2016 (EST)

|}} Not everything you just read or saw needs to be immediately added to the wiki. Information about upcoming toys or media may be rooted in rumors and leaks based on incomplete/outdated information; we don't cover leaks, and we’d rather be a little behind than inaccurate (see our relevant Policy Page for more info). A supposed toy defect may be an isolated incident. A claim of inaccuracy on an article may be a misunderstanding. Exercise your best judgment before making additions, and ask first on the article talk pages or our Discord if you’re not sure.

Once again, do not add information for toys that have not been officially announced. Blurr has only been seen in leaked images. Jalaguy (talk) 06:17, 17 January 2016 (EST)
