Stop.
[edit]I have been looking through your contributions to the wiki and just about every change you have made has been to remove humor from write ups. I have also seen that you have been told off about this before. The wiki is allowed humor, it is clearly stated on the main talk page. Yes, we are informative first, but please bear in mind that humor is allowed in out-of-universe sections and write ups, it is not just limited to image captions. Nope.
[edit]My friend, I've got zero - absolutely zero - problem with humour. My issue is with the adverb "amusingly", which is used incorrectly throughout the wiki. Usually it's been used when the writer meant "notably" or "remarkably", and on some occasions "ironically".
Also it's up to the reader to decide if something is funny. Not the writer. If something is funny the reader will laugh. They don't need it pointing out to them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Smokestorm (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}. 07:33, 28 December 2020 (EST)
- Amusingly, you're doing EXACTLY what you're railing against. You as the writer are trying to tell readers that these articles are using "amusingly" wrong (they're not), and that they shouldn't laugh. In your own words, 'they don't need it point[ed] out to them'. And sign your posts. McBaggins (talk) 12:10, 28 December 2020 (EST)
