We don't need to clarify every time that a Decepticon is okay after a battle, nor was it ever stated that anyone broke out of prison at the end of RID. Unfortunately, that's not good enough. Adam himself says in the tweet "they'll probably get out". That's not a firm "yes", that's an assumption, and can't be taken as fact. No, he really doesn't; it's a common turn of phrase not indicative of anything definitive. Besides, our primary source has always been the shows/comics/etc. themselves; authorial intent is generally a trivia section mention at best. (Four tildes. At the end.
