Vapor Squid

Dwelling in the skies of Cybertron, the enigmatic and terrifying Vapor Squid descend only to find unwary prey, using their natural ability to camouflage to get the drop on potential food. Normally hunting either under cover of darkness or cloud, their preferred method of hunting is to leave their tentacles dangling freely, grabbing anything that then wanders into their path. Not being a picky lot, they'll try to eat whatever they can wrap their tentacles around, animal or mechanoid. Solitary creatures, Vapor Squid only get together in order to reproduce, a process shrouded in mystery even to those who know about it. Highly elusive, researchers believe the average size of a Vapor Squid might be ten to twenty feet along, but the occasional discarded tentacle suggests they can easily get much, much bigger.
