Vaults of the Unknown
The Vaults of the Unknown was a hidden location on Cybertron and the forgotten resting place of the legendary Terminus Blade. The vaults were guarded by the ancient Cybertronian known as Scourge.

[edit]While he was imprisoned on Paradron, Ultra Magnus had his loyalists secretly help him to study Cybertron's ancient history. When he learned of the Terminus Blade, he obsessively searched for its location and came to discover that it was hidden within the Vaults of the Unknown. Upon learning this, he had Wheeljack<ref>|Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 61</ref> steal the blade from its caretaker, Scourge. The TCC Overview of the Classicsverse 2007-2012
Later, when Treadshot and his team confronted Ultra Magnus, he noted that the sword Magnus was carrying was the Terminus Blade and that it had been stolen from the Vaults of the Unknown. Invasion
