[edit]

Vehicon was a planet home to some technological civilization, apparently named the Tripurans, that had disappeared by the time that the inhabitants of Cybertron discovered the planet. Reverse Convoy subsequently led a colonization team that explored the planet, which proved to be a paradise. They dubbed the planet "Vehicon" for the numerous automated factories that had been left behind by the Tripurans; the Cybertronians turned the infrastructure for their own use. Most astonishing about Vehicon was that its sole moon had apparently been collapsed into a singularity by the Tripurans, generating immense gravitational tides. Reverse Convoy's forces were able to utilize the tides to generate vast quantities of energon, turning Vehicon into one of Cybertron's most valuable energy producers. After possessing Reverse Convoy, Megatron was so impatient to get to the Blasty Zone to return to his proper timeframe that he ignored the vast resources of Vehicon which he could have seized for himself. Vehicon is a member planet of the Autobot Commonwealth. It was the first planet to fall to the Decepticons during the Great War, but was liberated during the Autobot planet-hopping campaign. The conflict on Vehicon was named the "Machine Wars". The AllSpark Almanac II

Note

[edit]
  • Due to ambiguity in the Japanese spelling, it is possible to romanize the name as "Beacon". Reverse Convoy was released right after Beast Wars Returns ended in Japan, so the "Vehicon" interpretation seems more likely.
