Ventaxian

The Ventaxians are a species of intelligent organics. They inhabit the planet Ventax II. The species as a whole forwent its industrial ways long ago in order to pursue a mostly agricultural lifestyle. They have nonetheless retained some of their technological advancements, mainly the machines necessary for farming, and a system used to detect off-worlders entering their planet’s atmosphere. They also possess a very effective energy production system.

Tornado was tasked with infiltrating Ventax II as part of one of Captain Cannonball’s plots. There, he was confused by the Ventaxians’ way of life. He nonetheless went through with his mission to disable their planetary defense grid. He encountered a guard en-route to his destination, and noted that the Ventaxians seemed to put too much faith in their defense grid, as it was severely under-protected. Though the little 'bot had no problem taking on one or two of the organics on his own, several of them dog-piling him proved to be too much. The Ventaxians who attempted to prevent Tornado from leaving the planet were disabled by Ferak's Sonic Disrupter however, and the pirates left the organics to rebuild in their wake.
