Located on a rocky world, the Vestigial Cortical Complex is a warehouse containing the memories of over a half million Decepticons. The information contained therein is so sensitive that the Decepticons can't even post guards, lest those guards access the darkest secrets.

Seeking the Decepticon secrets, Rewind and his friends Chromedome and Stylor managed to locate the Vestigial Cortical Complex and hired Treadshot as a hired gun. They reached the complex's location and, in absence of a door or guards, Treadshot blew a hole in the wall so they could enter. Within, Rewind found the massive database of Decepticon memories.
