In the early 2020s, as Earth neared destruction by Cybertron, the British Prime Minister was informed by telephone of the status of other world leaders, including Putin of Russia. Whatever Putin was up to prompted the British Prime Minister to remark in distaste. The Last Knight

• The comic issue The Transformers vol. 1 #12 referenced the 2008-2012 "tandemocracy" of Putin and Medvedev, but the drawn Prime Minister of Russia does not particularly resemble Putin.
