[edit]After a drilling team discovered a futuristic city beneath the Erebus oil field, Slingshot, Skydive and Hot Rod were sent to escort a team of human scientists and military men to investigate it. Upon approaching the site, the cargo plane carrying the humans was shot down by an energy blast. One of the scientists, Nyder, was ready to blame Vostok Base for the attack. He was mistaken; it turned out to be the inhabitants of the subterranean city. Battle Beneath the Ice
