We're surprised the name "Wave Edge" wasn't taken by a Transformer too.

WAVEDGE Co., Ltd. (株式会社ウェイヴエッジ) was a Japanese video game developer. A subsidiary of Takara, the company was formed in the late 1990s by former members of the developer Aorn. During its short-lived tenure, WAVEDGE developed a few games for Takara, including Chiisana Kyojin Microman, Jinsei Game for Dreamcast, and Beyblade: Let It Rip!, plus graphics for multiple entries in Banpresto's Super Robot Wars series. The company was closed in December 2001 following a reorganization at Takara.
