The warship captain's ship was sent into action when BlackZarak attacked New York City as part of Operation M1. His subordinates, Sailor A and Sailor B, asked the warship captain what his orders were, and the captain refused to open fire, fearing the damage to the coastal city their weapons would cause. The captain then witnessed a squadron of air fighters battle BlackZarak, only to be sucked into a black hole created by the Decepticon.
