Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

Wind-Sheer and his Dark Skies Patrol served Erector in contested Tesarus during the Grand Uprising. When the Pack began an artillery bombardment of their position, the Dark Skies took to the air to locate the guns. Despite some dogfighting with the Resistance beasts, they managed to pinpoint the artillery guns and call back the position to Erector.

Wind-Sheer survived the war and the Vehicon Apocalypse, serving as security for the peace summit between the various factions. Wind-Sheer was paired with a MCSF officer Shatterpoint, and they actually started to get along well. Their biggest arguments came over Shatterpoint being a "Unicron truther". Derailment

Armada Wind Sheer transforms into a a made-up stealth fighter bearing a slight resemblance to the F-117A Nighthawk. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on his vehicle-mode underside which allows him to attach to any toy with a "Powerlinx" style 5 mm post; some toys have special Powerlinx posts that activate/unlock gimmicks when a Mini-Con is attached. He's designed to fit snugly into the triangular indentation on his larger partner Wheeljack's roof, activating his Powerlinx-triggered gull-wing doors.
He was only available as a pack-in with his larger partner Wheeljack, first released in the sixth wave of Hasbro's Armada Super-Cons (the fist wave to feature the Unicron Battles branding). The later Takara Legend of the Microns version of Wind Sheer, named "Hawk", uses jet-black plastic rather than the Hasbro's version's charcoal gray and darker yellow plastic, just as his gang-molded larger partner "Rampage" does.
This mold was redecoed to make Shattered Glass Whisper.
