Wreckloose is a Decepticon or Predacon from the Generation 1 continuity family (via the 2010 Transformers toyline).

Wreckloose was among those trapped in The Proton Blaster when a battle went on between the resistance and the Builders outside. He tried to make an escape, only to be blasted open when he took a few steps outside. Head Games

Wreckloose is a very minor repaint of the Cybertron Wreckloose toy, transforming into a robotic reptile resembling a komodo dragon. In this mode he can wear a piece of bladed armor; inserting a Cyber Planet Key into it swings the twin spiked blades forward. This assembly becomes a melee weapon for his robot mode that can be hand-held, but seems to function better as a bladed shield mounted on his forearm/elbow. He comes with a clear-blue, silver-bordered Jungle Planet-styled Cyber Planet Key (simply called a "key" on the packaging).
Wreckloose features minor differences from his Cybertron counterpart: the silver detailing on the beast mode neck and leg, the "diamond" on his robot mode chest and the orange border around the Cyber Key connection point are left unpainted, and his weapon features plain black Decepticon insignias, as opposed to white-bordered purple ones.
He was available at Big Lots! stores in the United States, Maxi&Cie / Superstore and Winners in Canada, and Toys"R"Us stores in the UK. In all instances he was available alongside Backstop & Undermine.

  • Just where Backstop, Undermine, and Wreckloose "fit", dimensionally, was up for debate. Their bios pretty clearly make them out to be separate characters from their Cybertron namesakes while—with typical 2010-on vagueness—offering no insights into what universe they're "supposed" to go in. The packaging also does not help place them, being red-colored like the Generations toyline, but lacking any other series identifier. As such, this wiki placed them under the umbrella "2010" line just for ease of organization until the 2015 story, "Head Games", made them Beast Wars characters in the Generation 1 continuity family.
