Xetaxxis

'We'll soon be back, and in greater numbers!'

Xetaxxis is a planet. It hates Lanarq.

The nature of the native inhabitants varies across timelines. In some, they are a Cybertronian sized race of mechanicals known as Xetaxxans while in others, they are a human sized organic race known as Xetaxxians.

Xetaxxis was plunged deep in a war with neighboring world Lanarq, turning to the Quintessons for greater and more destructive weapons. After this war had raged for centuries, devastating both worlds, it came to the point where both races would be wiped out entirely. The Autobots arranged for a peace conference, and the Xetaxxans dispatched a delegation to meet with a group of Lanarqans.

Talks quickly broke down, and the Xetaxxans stormed out, promising decisive action. They contacted their Quintesson suppliers, who reported that the weapon they ordered would soon be delivered. This done, the Xetaxxan fleet fired on the Lanarq ships, which responded in kind. The Xetaxxan and Lanarqan delegates resumed brawling, despite the best efforts of Rodimus and Ultra Magnus, until Sky Lynx arrived with a Quintesson Journal. The revelation that the Quintessons had been keeping the war going so they could supply guns to both Xetaxxis and Lanarq effectively ended the war, with both races agreeing to keep to their own worlds. Xetaxxis was a planet in the territory of the Solstar Order. The space station Orchid Crossing orbited the planet. Shining Armor #1

One of the Ultra Magnuses had never heard of the planet after hacking a Galactic Council starship's computer. After he, Bumblebee and Sky Blast spent a week looking for it, they arrived at Orchid Crossing. After Sky Blast had been possessed by a Dire Wraith, Magnus disabled the station's power and sent it falling into Xetaxxis in the hopes that atmospheric reentry would destroy the Wraith/Cybertronian hybrid. Vekktral observed that it hadn't. On the surface, Magnus placed Stardrive under arrest for violating the Tyrest Accord before he was shot into stasis by Rom. Shining Armor #2

After Magnus rebooted, the Knights and Autobots exchanged blows some more before Stardrive broke up the fighting. With the Wraith/Cybertronian hybrid loose, Livia proposed destroying Xetaxxis (and received approval from Rom and Magnus) before Bumblebee questioned why the Wraiths and Decepticons would even stick around. Stardrive then revealed the existence of her energon synthesizer, forcing both Space Knights and Autobots into a temporary truce to thwart the Decepticon/Wraith alliance. After failing to save some Xetaxxians, Stardrive made a deal with Starscream that he would take the synthesizer and leave Xetaxxis. Shining Armor #3 After Rom and Livia had chased the Seeker off, Livia proposed detonating the synthesizer to destroy the Wraiths with the resulting explosion being powerful enough to sterilize all life on their half of Xetaxxis.Shining Armor #4 After being betrayed by Vekktral, Starscream detonated the synthesizer, the resulting explosion sterilizing 48% of Xetaxxis. The resulting state of the planet was enough for the Galactic Council to swear off any form of alliance with the Solstar Order. Shining Armor #5

Optimus Prime later recalled Xetaxxis as one of the worlds that had been destroyed in the Great War. The Dead Come Home, Part 2
