- Yūji is a human from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Yūji (勇司) is Rodimus Convoy Jr.'s friend and a young ally to the Autobots, all eager and suchlike.

[edit]While returning from a survey somewhere out in space, the ship Yūji and Rodimus Convoy Jr. were travelling in inadvertently warped into the path of a beam from a Decepticon battleship's Dimensional Cannon. The weapon's chaotic energies merged Yūji into Rodimus Jr.'s being. Henceforth, the boy was witness to Rodimus Jr.'s foretold efforts to save giant aliens from the Decepticons who were taking members of their tribe as slaves.
After Rodimus Convoy Jr. tapped into legendary divine power and grew humongous, Yūji was finally separated from the Autobot's body, although he was now of comparable size to the aliens. Rodimus Jr. Does His Part! Defeat the Beast of Legend
