Yoku Shioya

Yoku Shioya (塩屋翼 Shioya Yoku, born June 24, 1958) is a Japanese voice actor who was born as Tsubasa Shioya. Since the age of 14, he had started his voice acting carrier as the titular character of Umi no Triton. Along with other roles such as Jinpei the Swallow in Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Cosmo Yuki in Space Runaway Ideon, Shinji Hikari in Bismark, Misha in Sailor Moon, Ryota Miyagi in Slam Dunk, Dr. Oguni Gensai in Rurouni Kenshin, Miles in Cowboy Bebop, Shuichi Kitada in Goldfish Warning! and Baron Will A. Zeppeli in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Recently he has done some voice directing in such anime as Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls as well as voicing Ikargen in Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger.

In the world of dubbing he played the title character in Race for your Life, Charlie Brown!, Artie Ziff in The Simpsons, Killer in All Dogs go to Heaven, and Donatello in the home video dub of the first live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

He is the younger brother of voice actor Kōzō Shioya.
